जानकी-रमण दशरथ-नन्दन
शर्वरीश-वदन हरे राम ।

(हे) हरे ! राम ! जानकी-रमण ! दशरथ-नन्दन ! शर्वरीश-वदन !

हरे O Hari (हरि) ! राम O Raama! जानकी-रमण  O Beloved husband (रमण) of Seetaa, Jaanakee (जानकी), the daughter of Janaka (जनक) ! दशरथ-नन्दन O Son (नन्दन) of Dasharatha (दशरथ) ! शर्वरीश-वदन O one whose face (वदन) is (charming) like the moon (शर्वरीश), the master (ईश) of night (शर्वरी) !

दीन-वत्सल दया-जलधे (राम)
वर-दान-शील कोदण्ड-पाणे ।

(हे) दीन-वत्सल दया-जलधे ! राम !  वर-दान-शील ! कोदण्ड-पाणे !

दीन-वत्सल O one affectionate (वत्सल) towards poor, afflicted people (दीन) ! दया-जलधे O ocean (जलधि) of compassion (दया) ! राम O Raama !  वर-दान-शील O one whose habit (शील) is to grant (दान) boons (वर) ! कोदण्ड-पाणे O one holds the Kodanda bow (कोदण्ड) in his hand (पाणि) !

गौतम-कान्ता-निज-रूपाहर

(हे) कौशिक-मख-संरक्षण-कर ! गौतम-कान्ता-निज-रूप-आहर !

कौशिक-मख-संरक्षण-कर O Protector (संरक्षण-कर) of the Yagna (मख) of Maharishi Vishvaamitra, Koushika (कौशिक), one in the lineage of King Kushika (कुशिक) ! गौतम-कान्ता-निज-रूप-आहर O one who brought (आहर) the original form (निज-रूप) to Ahalyaa, the wife (कान्ता) of Rishi Gautama (गौतम)! [आहारः आ+हृ+अच् आहरति]

महित-महेश्वर-चाप-दलन-कर
मैथिल-तनया-कर-माला-धर ।

(हे) महित-महेश्वर-चाप-दलन-कर ! मैथिल-तनया-कर-माला-धर ! [मिथिलायाः अयं मैथिलः, जनकः]

महित-महेश्वर-चाप-दलन-कर O Breaker (दलन-कर) of the well respected (महित) bow (चाप) of Lord Shiva, Maheshvara (महेश्वर) ! मैथिल-तनया-कर-माला-धर O one who wore (धर) the garland (माला) that was held in the hands (कर) of Seetaa, the daughter (तनया) of Janaka (मैथिल), who belonged to Mithilaa city (मिथिला). 

A collection of Sanskrit songs written by the poorvaashram relatives of the 27th Pattam Swami (1939 – 1980), Sri Vaanamaamalai Chinna Ramanuja Jeeyar was published by Vaanamaamalai Mutt, Nanguneri in the book titled Shree Vaanamaamalai Jeeyar Swami Keertana Maalaa.

Vaanamaamalai Mutt, also known as Totaadri Mutt, is an ancient mutt of Shree Vaishnava Thenkalai Sampradaaya, established by Ponnadikkaal Jeeyar under the orders of Manavaala Maamunigal.

śarvarīśa-vadana hare rāma ।

(he) hare ! rāma ! jānakī-ramaṇa ! daśaratha-nandana ! śarvarīśa-vadana !

hare O Hari (hari) ! rāma O Raama! jānakī-ramaṇa  O the husband, the beloved (ramaṇa) of Seetaa, Jaanakee (jānakī), the daughter of Janaka (janaka) ! daśaratha-nandana O Son (nandana) of Dasharatha (daśaratha) ! śarvarīśa-vadana O one whose face (vadana) is (charming) like the moon (śarvarīśa), the master (īśa) of night (śarvarī) !

dīna-vatsala dayā-jaladhe (rāma)
vara-dāna-śīla kodaṇḍa-pāṇe ।

(he) dīna-vatsala dayā-jaladhe ! rāma !  vara-dāna-śīla ! kodaṇḍa-pāṇe !

kauśika-makha-saṃrakṣaṇa-kara O the protector (saṃrakṣaṇa-kara) of the Yagna (makha) of Maharishi Vishvaamitra, Koushika (kauśika), one in the lineage of King Kushika (kuśika) ! gautama-kāntā-nija-rūpaahara O one who brought (aahara) the original form (nija-rūpa) to Ahalyaa, the wife (kāntā) of Rishi Gautama (gautama) !

mahita-maheśvara-cāpa-dalana-kara O the breaker (dalana-kara) of the well respected (mahita) bow (cāpa) of Lord Shiva (maheśvara) ! maithila-tanayā-kara-mālā-dhara O one who wore (dhara) the garland (mālā) that was held in the hands (kara) of Seetaa, the daughter (tanayā) of Janaka (maithila), who belonged to Mithilaa city (mithilā).
