Rationale for this kind of classification:

The clauses or phrases in the anvayam can be identified clearly. The main term and its adjectives can be differentiated. The visheshana suchaka padam is differentiated from the direct visheshanam. It is shorter than the lengthy and repetitive आकाङ्क्ष पद्धति questions and still provides the same benefit.

क्रियापदम् = Verb
क्रियाविशेषणम् = adverb and  (negation) न, एव and हि
कर्मपदम् = object
कर्म-वाक्यांश: Sub-heading for the phrase that refers to the object
कर्म-वाक्यम् Sub-heading for a sentence which is the object
कर्मविशेषणम् = adjective of object
कर्मविशेषण-वाक्यांश: sub-heading for phrase that refers to the adjective for the object
कर्मविशेषण-सूचक-पदम् = Term that indicates more about the object without being an adjective
प्रश्नवाचकपदम् = Questioning term
कर्तृपदम् = Subject
कर्तृविशेषणम् = adjective of subject
कर्तृ-विशेषण-वाक्यांश: sub-heading for a clause or phrase describing the subject or the kartaa
क्रिया-गर्भ-कर्तृपदम् In a clause describing the kartaa, the term indicating the kartaa — when there is karma or karana or kriyaavisheshanam for the kriya indicated by the kartrupadam
कर्तृ-विशेषण-सूचक-पदम् = Describes the kartaa without being used as a direct visheshanam. Note that the genders may or might not match in this case. Used in sentences that describe how the kartaa is or has become.
Also for words like अपि or एव or हि which describe more about the kartaa but are not adjectives.
कर्तृ-विशेषण-सूचक-वाक्यांश: Describes the phrases indicating the kartaa without being used as a direct visheshanam. Describes how the kartaa is or has become.
प्रश्नवाचक-कर्तृपदम् = Kartaa mentioned as questioning word.
सम्बोधनपदम् = 1st sambodhana vibhakti
सम्योजकपदम् = Connecting words
करणवाचकपदम् = 3rd vibhakti indicating agent
करणविशेषणम् = adjective for 3rd vibhakti
कारणवाचकपदम् = 3rd or 5th vibhakti indicating cause, words like अत:, तदर्थम्
कारणविशेषणम् = Adjective for the cause
सम्प्रदानपदम् = 4th vibhakti or 2nd vibhakti in case of dvikarmaka dhaatu
सम्प्रदानविशेषणम् = Adjective for 4th vibhakti
अपादानपदम् = 5th vibhakti
अपादानविशेषणम् = Adjective for 5th vibhakti
सम्बन्ध-पदम् = 6th vibhakti term. This term along with its vishanam, if any, and the actual term associated with it, will be taken as a phrase.
सम्बन्ध-विशेषण-पदम् = vishanam of the 6th vibhakti term
क्रियागर्भसम्बन्धपदम् = In a clause describing the sambandha padam, when there is karma or karana or kriyaavisheshanam for the kriya indicated by the sambandha padam
अधिकरणपदम् = 7th vibhakti term indicating place स्थानवाचकपदम् or a subject matter विषयवाचकपदम् or time कालवाचकपदम्
अधिकरण-विशेषणम् = adjective for 7th vibhakti
कालवाचक-वाक्यांश: Sub-heading for the Satisaptami phrase
क्रिया-आश्रय-कर्मपदम् = used in Satisaptami – karma
क्रिया-आश्रय-कर्तृपदम् = used in Satisaptami – karta
ज्ञापक-क्रियापदम् = used in Satisaptami – kriyaa
सतिसप्तमि-पदम् = Satisaptami term
क्त्वान्त-वाक्यांश: sub-heading for ktvaa clause
क्त्वान्तपदम् = ktvaa word indicating the action that was done prior to the current action
ल्यबन्त-वाक्यांश: sub-heading for lyap clause
ल्यबन्तपदम् = lyap word indicating the action that was done prior to the current action
